To convert the Demo version to the Purchased version you have to "Activate" it. This is very easy if you are connected to the Internet. Start your Ham University program and under the Help Menu, click Activate Ham University. This will take you a simple form on our website which will ask you for your name, your email, and your "Sales Code." When entering codes, you can use either upper or lower case.
You cannot activate Ham University without a Sales Code -- which is your "Proof of Purchase." If you bought a genuine copy of Ham University on a CD, the Sales Code will be written on it. If you ordered Ham University online, your Sales Code will be in the email confirming your registration.
When you upgrade to a new PC, you will need to re-activate Ham University -- so make sure you don't lose your Sales Code. You will also need your Sales Code if you have to reformat your hard-drive or re-install Windows. Keep it in a safe place.
Ham University is normally licensed per household. Our activation system will render your Sales Code invalid if someone uses it somewhere else. Then, if you have to reformat (e.g.), you will not be able to re-activate Ham University again.
If you are unable to connect to the Internet it is possible (but not as easy) to activate Ham University by telephoning us during our normal business hours.
